Background: Mary Robinson drifted around in school. She always got
good grades, but she didn't really know what she wanted to do with
her life. When she got out of high school, she put in applications
to several colleges, as well as the Marines. Essentially, whichever
brochures she picked up, she applied to. She ended up getting
accepted into Dartmouth Medical School up in New Hampshire as well as
the Marines. Unable to decide, she went down to the base she was
supposed to report in at for the Marines and told them her
predicament. They made her a deal to go to the medical school for
the four-year program and then to come back and serve as a medic for
them. She agreed and off to Dartmouth she went. After the eight
years, she graduated with high grades as usual and returned to the
Marines. Impressed with her abilities, they decided to assign her to
DELTA squad down in Florida. When she got there, she quickly became
friends with the rest of her team. She ended up especially liking
David Trenton and developed a bit of a crush on him, but she kept
that to herself.
