Cameron Grant, videogame programer, having recently moved into a
house boat down in St. Petersburg, is awoken by noises outside her
boat during the night caused by Josh Maclachlan, vampyre. Cam ends
up being attacked and bitten by Josh when Chris Brock, monster
hunter, comes to her rescue. Cam accidentaly invites Josh into her
boat and he knocks both her and Chris out.
Meanwhile, Simone Kelly, vampyre, and Jade Wellington, also a vamp,
have been watching Josh and after he drags Cam and Chris out of the
boat, they approach to share in the prey. Before they can, Dagon,
vamp vigilante, comes to Cam and Chris's rescue. Josh ends up
bitting Cam again, and draining her severly.
After Josh, Simone, and Jade are driven off, Dagon and Chris take Cam
to the hospital. Once they arrive there, Cam is treated for her
blood loss. Just before Cam is released from the hospital, Josh
arrives, sneaking into Cam's room, attempting to finish the job.
Chris gets Cam out of the hospital, having a run in with Simone along
the way, while Dagon fends off Josh.
From there, Chris takes Cam back to his apartment. Not long after,
Dagon shows up, followed closely by Josh and they start to fight
again. Josh gets injured and goes about the apartment complex,
looking for Cam. This leads to Josh, Dagon, and Simone in the
upstairs hallway of the apartment complex outside of Chris's door.
In the next room, David Trenton, marine, is having a hard time
sleeping due to all the noise out in the hall. Long story short, he
unloads an M-16 clip into Josh, hardly phasing him, and Cam pulls him
into Chris's apartment. The sun about to come up, Josh and Simone
leave, Dagon not far behind.
Trenton invites Cam to stay at his place and they both go over there
and go to sleep. Cam, Chris, and Trenton make plans to go back to
Cam's boat and get her things during the day, but that plan falls
though, due to everyone oversleeping.
Night Two:
Dagon heads back to Chris's apartment and explains that he's on their
side. After that, Chris, Cam, Dagon, and Trenton all try to head to
Cam's boat, but they're stopped just outside of the apartment complex
by Josh and Simone. Not long after, Nocturne Dirge, vampeale, and
Wynter, stripper, stumble onto the battle. Nocturne gets involved
and not long after, Josh lets Cam and co. escape.
Cam and co. head to her boat and head out to sea and safety. This
would be when Cam and Trenton's relationship really started.
A day or so later:
Cam is working on making a UV Gun on her boat. Trenton visits her
and they both end up meeting Blake Gordon, sniper SPPD, who's living
on the houseboat next to Cam's. Chris goes to Oz's Pawn Shop to
check on an order he's put in for silver bullets and silver stakes,
etc.
That night:
Cam is still working on her UV Gun at Oz's. Chris and Trenton are
there as well. Dagon, Simone, and Jade have a run in with Nocturne
in an alley, as well as Wolf Grey, vampyre slave. Wolf attacks Dagon
and Dagon beats him up. Wolf manages to escape. Josh goes to Oz's
looking for gems. Cam sees him and leaves the store right
afterwards, Trenton going with her and taking her back to his
apartment where their relationship progresses. Chris stays at Oz's.
After Nocturne and Simone leave the alley, Dagon and Jade decide to
go feed together. Afterwards, they have a nice little chat,
something quite rare for them.
The next day:
It's around this time, that Chris goes M.I.A. for a bit, and Grugar
Eridush, warlock and major baddie of the first plot, makes his first
appearance at Oz's. He's looking for supplies for his evil plans.
Cam and Trenton realize Chris is missing and go about searching for
him. They search into the night with no luck and decide to go get
Blake to help them search.
A week passes... Chris is found, all is well.
