| I've seen many a Gundam Wing site in my day & i've noticed a recurring trend: In many sites almost every character except Hilde is mentioned. There are never any pics of her or profiles or any mention. Even the official site doesnt mention her! Now, Hilde is not my favorite character. In fact, sometimes i don't like her b/c of her "friendship" with Duo. (It's a stupid reason, i know. *Hangs head*) But she is nice & she helps the Gundam pilots out at the end. And, as much as I hate to admit it, without her help a few times, Duo would no longer be with us. So, i can't understand why she is hardly mentioned at all. Maybe it's a conspiracy planned by jealous Duo fans (then why wasn't I let in on it? ;) Well, i just wanted to point this out & also say: Hilde, you are special (even if you do like Duo). Other People's Opinions About Hilde: Hi... I'm juss another overly obsessed g-wing fan, and the stuff you said about Hilde is all true! I mean, I don't like her that much, but it is true that she helped the g-boys in the end. If it weren't for her, then the whole ending would've been screwed up. Also, if it weren't for her, then Duo would've never found out that Trowa was alive! She helped Duo get to the Lunar Base, and also saved his life. She was backup for Duo. -Chibimoongirl I agree that they should have pictures, descriptions, or even a sentence with her name in it. I mean, how would Duo get Deathscythe Hell without her?-TYoung9565 Hilde is a very nice person who comes along a couple times in the Gundam Wing series and once in Endless Waltz. She is backup for all the Gundam pilots. Especially Duo! Duo would of DIED! in the middle of the series if Hilde hadn't of been there. It is not fair that Hilde is hardly ever mentioned on sites, or have pictures of her. Hilde you are on of my favorate characters, your brave fights and endless kindness will always make you one of the best.-DPO3843 I'll be honest I'm not big on Hilde either 'cause of her "friendship" with Duo. But real gundam wing fans and even lesser fans should at least mention that they know who she is and that she really did help. All in all she is a (at least) a good character and should be acknowledged. And if it was a conspiracy to get Duo and be rid of Hilde then why the heck was I not notified either? ^-^ Come on people! She's really not that bad! - Hogosha Kaen Hilde is one of my favorite Gundam Wing girls. It's not so much because of her stubbornness or easy-to-get-along-with attitude, but also because of her amazing abilities to adapt to situations and pilot a mobile suit almost as well as anyone. She's exceptionally brave, and I think this is cool because she doesn't blab it out like Heero or Wufei, but instead, stays underneath and is content to use her bravery only when necessary. It's easy to tell she likes all the Gundam pilots, but knows Duo the best of all. Even though I personally don't think Hilde should be paired with Duo (not because I love Duo or anything), I do think that they make a great team, and therefore should be acknowledged for her efforts just as much as Sally or Catherine. -Spica |
