The fourth album from this Belgian gore squad shows a big step up of the band, they have evolved a lot after the ‘Purity Of Perversion’ to ‘Goremageddon’. As you’re not seeing any drop of blood on the cover artwork, you’re also not listening to a blasbeat gore death metal anymore but slightly more grove & more breakdowns between the blasts. Not to forget, more good embracing solos are present in this album. There’s also the use of keyboards which’s for me is quite strange but the result is something weird but cool! There are 3 guest vocalists from Illdisposed, Mnemic & Hatesphere whose gave more variety since each of them (including Sven) has different style. The sound production also changed as well, open & clearer sound compare to Goremageddon. For those who hope more blast, you may disappointed but why not listen to the new flavor of Aborted. www.goremageddon.de
