IMPIETY

Paramount Evil

(2004 Agonia Records)

When the first time I listen, I found that it’s slower than Kaos Kommand 696. After few times, I feel this album cover all; heavy, catchy yet brutal but still can’t beat the brutality & blasting of KK696. It’s also more structured since it has the brutality, aggressiveness, melodies & more thrashing. It gave an advantage to this album, various listenable modes. The production is the best among all Impiety’s releases; very polish & sharp. The first song, ‘Sunrise Defloration’ is like an intro to the album & it’s also having a same equality with the last song, ‘Sunset Detonation’. Both songs have the same beginning & ending. For me, Impiety’s not racist for the anti-Jews lyrics in songs like ‘Carbonized’ or ‘Adonai Made Excrement’ because this is something that metal revolution have changed today. That’s what it should be!! As in KK696, ‘Paramount Evil’ also offer a cover song, ‘Morbid Visions’ originally by Sepultura in the LP & digipack edition. www.mightyimpiety.com
