This promo actually just contained 3 songs but I got it special package together with 4 bonus tracks from their previous demo Ode Of Yearning Sorrow, that makes me easy to compare both materials. The first song which’s the album’s title appears but it not really impressed me. The vocalization is quite disappointed, his voices sound too tired. Drum as well sometimes sound chaos that makes this song a trouble. While the second song, Cursed Hatred Within is better from the musical arrangement; the melody is quite catchy with harmonic & melancholic keyboards. It’s also having thrashing feels, sometimes. Not to forget, there’s a depressive solos present almost at the end of this songs. The last song actually appears as bonus track because ‘Gravechild’ is originally taken from the previous ‘Ode Of Yearning Sorrow’. The sound production in this promo is better than any of their previous demos. They still sounds like their biggest influence, old-Dimmu Borgir & slightly Old Man’s Child.
