There are actually 3 bands with the name Ominous but this one is from New Jersey, US. Talking about this 3-pieces band is about pure aggression, speed & brutality. They draw variety influences from Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, Cryptopsy to Obituary & the band have already sharing the stage with Suffocation, Kataklysm, Dying Fetus, Deicide etc. This debut album is filled with insane tunes, incredible drumming, catchy riffs & the double hellish & guttural vocals. They cover lots of death metal things in this album & what I really like are the modern sound in ‘Intercorpse & extreme tunes & ultra violence in ‘Dead Cunt’. There’s also an instrumental solo bass track entitled ‘The Strangling’ but it makes me bore because it’s just too long.
