This is an old promo CD & the band has already released an album. They play brutal but atmospheric death metal. Combining Amorphis & Carcass will result Thornesbreed. Their music is actually a blend of various styles from brutal death metal with melodic riffs to the melancholic dark metal atmosphere to grinding drumming. The vocalization is done in the Amorphis style-deep guttural vocals. The insanely music remind me to Carcass although their music is actually far away different. This band found an interesting combination for their music & I think that’s a good thing they produce. But I think the drummer should improve his skills because sometimes his drumming sounds too chaotic but I should give them a credit for his constant double-paddle.
