Todtgelichter is a Germany band simply play Norwegian influenced black metal, it’s harsh & raw but absolutely unoriginal. Lots of things are typical & have repeated by numerous bands before, nothing more or nothing less. This is their second release after ‘Sog In Den Wahnsihn’ demo. Was bleibt actually meant which remains in English. They have 9 songs & all are written in their own mother tongue language as the album title. Nothing is really interesting to tell here but they manage to create a desolate & melancholic atmosphere by the guitar-lines, no keyboard or synthesizer is used. The riffs are also repetitive in most of the songs, nothing really memorable. The vocalization is the shrieking type but not overdone. Hope they’ll create another better music in the future.
