TSJUDER

Desert Northern Hell

(2004 Season Of Mist)

It’s written in the booklet; No Synthesizer, No Female Vocals, No Compromise!! And yes, all the sentences describe Desert Northern Hell. This is a black metal album recorded in the vein of Bathory, Celtic Frost, old-Darkthrone & Immortal. It’s off course not so original as Tsjuder is also from Norway but the band existence for 12 years is enough to proved their capability of high level musicians & Tsjuder is a 3-pieces band. Song entitled ‘Mouth Of Madness’ do remind me to Darkthrone’s Panzerfaust and not to forget they also cover Bathory’s Sacrifice but it’s more melodic but still thrashing. There’s also an old song entitled ‘Possessed’. The last song ,’Morbid Lust’ running for 11 minutes but not making me bored at all. Although the music is unoriginal, this is a strong recommendation for black metal listeners especially who love the fast, furious yet thrashing black metal with not excessively melodic. www.season-of-mist.com
