NECHBEYTH (Singapore)

Interview with Feuersturm

Blasphemous Warhailz to Feuersturm!!! Howre you & whats going on in Nechbeyth camp along these days? What are you guys doing lately?

Mighty honourable heils to you! Im well and infernal here and so are the rest of the Elite Regiment. Well, we're preparing for a live annilihation here in Singapore and also we're undergoing some massive new changes. And news for those who know us, Nechbeyth is now officially a 4-headed war machine.

Can you introduce Nechbeyth to those fuckingheads that may be didnt know any shit about the band, short story may be? Why the band did named Nechbeyth & who are the warcomanders in the band?

Nechbeyth plays supreme elitist attack black metal with no fucking compromise. Nechbeyth simply means the "Land ov Vultures" and why we are named as such is that the vulture is a predatory bird which feeds on the dead and dying and so we are like the winged bringer of death and devastation from above to annilihate and decimate all of humanity and its feeble religions.

The Elite Regiment of Kommandos are:
Feuersturm: Oratory Decimation and Dehumanisation Commands
Blitzkrieg: Invocator of the Supreme Battle Triumph and Deathaxe Genocide
Merkhava: Weapons of Atrocity and Total Annilihation
Akhzareth: Heathen Warhammer and Superior Aggression

How was the progression of the bands latest effort, Total Battle Supremacy, does it already release or not? Why did the band decided to release it by In Coffin Prods, how abut the labels all around Singahell?

Yes. Total Battle Supremacy was honourably and ably released by Incoffin Productions back in July. Incoffin Productions offered to release Total Battle Supremacy after Wathayakorn heard our initial promo and we agreed with his deal. And I should say that the deal with Incoffin was excellent as it was superbly handled, both in terms of production and promotion. So far, I have not heard of any labels in Singapore that has offered to release any of our stuff yet.

Ive noticed that in this 4 warhymns demo, it just only consists of 2 new opuses plus the old tracks from the previous demo, Promotional Warhymns 2002, why dont it feature al new tracks? How will you describe in detailed about Total Battle Supremacy?

Total Battle Supremacy was meant to consist of 2 new hymns + re-desecrations of the 2 songs from Promotional Warhymns 2003. We decided not to include any more new songs as we wanted to have a different sound for the 2 songs from Promotional....2003 and also it gave a chance to those unable to obtain a copy of that promo to have their eardrums destroyed by it.

Total Battle Supremacy consists of:
I. Hellraping Hellhorde Assault
II. Demonwinged Vultures
III. Handschar
IV. In Flames and Baptized.

How can you describe about Total Battle Supremacy comparing to Promotional Warhymns 2002, how it differs both of them? Why does it release to only 333 copies by ICP? How about release it overseas?

As I've stated earlier, the sound production differs and in my opinion, Total Battle Supremacy has a much better sound overall if compared with Promotional...2003. The reason why its limited is that both Wathayakorn and myself think that its a great way for our stuff to remain cult. All overseas distribution is handled by Incoffin Productions and they are doing a marvellous job at that.

Many statements come & state that Nechbeyth is the answer for Singapore version of the mighty Marduk furthermore Nechbeyths hymns are similarly to Marduk sound & also the war theme uses by the band as the same concept with Marduk.Whats you comment towards this? Beside of Marduk, who are the bands influenced?

Well I guess individual opinion varies. Personally, I think that while Marduk is one of our influences, Nechbeyth differs from Marduk totally. War themes are not limited to Marduk alone, and for that matter, Marduk has only used a war theme for Panzer Division Marduk, so I dont think that is a reason to give if we are similar to Marduk.

Nechbeyth's main influences are: CONQUEROR, BLASPHEMY, BLACK WITCHERY, BESTIAL WARLUST, ORDER FROM CHAOS, ANGELCORPSE, GORGOROTH, MARDUK etc.

Youre really one of great fan of Marduk as vocalist it must be for sure that you get mad with Legion vokillz, can you tell me what is so special about the band that struck you? Whats the best ever Marduks effort?

Yeah I guess that Marduk is one hell of a Black Metal band, and no matter how their image and music has changed, they're still a great band to me. Yes, Legion is one of my inspirations due to his fiercesome and ferocious vocals! I guess what draws Marduk to me is their music, imagery and not to mention lyrics. So these factors combine and make Marduk who they are and thats what I like about them. I guess its hard to have a favourite effort from Marduk but personally, I like Panzer Division Marduk and Heaven Shall Burn...very much.

I can attributed that Nechbeyth play the warhymns black metal with brutal, fast , speed musick & I think today its become a trend to play any types of metal music I that way. What do you think about this, how about Nechbeyth?

Well true enough, I notice that death, black and even thrash metal have started to utilise hyper-velocity speed and utter brutality in their music but I dont think that its a trend. Not every band can or would want to play that way and I think that its up to individuals to decide. As for Nechbeyth, we will always continue our total annilihation and decimation the way its meant to be...Ultra-fast and raw, ugly with utter savagery and hatred. No Compromise. Pure Elitism.

Why did the band choose to play the uncompromising war theme of black metal although in black metal there were another theme such as Satanism, anti-fuckingchristianity, occultism, mysticism etc. what do you think about that?

I think that war themes are perfect for our type of Supreme Elitist Attack Black Metal. Occultism and mysticism and indeed Satanism has been the main themes for Black Metal and I dont think that it will change...but as for us, its the way we have chosen our own path to the supreme triumph.

Some said that original black metal era is going down when some fuckingayheads avail black metal anthems in their boybands, I wont say who they are because I think youve already knew it hah!!? So, what do you think about them?

Well...Fuck off to trend. Hail all elitists.

As youve already noticed that European/ American scene were already bigger than ourselves in Asia & so that they look us as inferior but some bands like Impiety, SODivinity, Sigh, Terror Squad proved that were also good & deserve for appreciation. What do you think about this? Can you name for me some other Asian hordes deserve that standard?

I guess it doesnt matter if you're a band from Europe, US or Asia. What matters is that you stay TRUE and dont give a fuck to what other people think or say. Asian bands can be as good if not better than most European or US bands. Local crowds should play a part by supporting your own elite heathen hordes as well instead of mere and total worship of foreign bands. Some other good Asian bands are like: Abigail, Metalucifer, Neurotic of Godz, Rudra etc.

How do you think of Singahell metal progressing? Can you name for me really talented new bands came from Singahell lately? How about the old bands, who do you salute so much?

Well, actually, I dont really give much attention to all these lame crap trend bands that is plaguing Singapore's metal scene nowdays. But I guess there is progress, though not what I would consider as TRUE or CULT. New bands that I would sincerely recommend are: PURBAWISESA (Black Grim Metal), IRONFIST (Heavy Fucking Metal), MAJUSSIAH (BM), REDIVIVUS (Old-School Death) and some others that deserve mention.

CULT Singapore bands that I will always salute are: ABHORER (RIP), IMPIETY, PROFANCER (RIP), XASTHUR (RIP), EIBON, NUCTEMERON (RIP), HAIL (RIP), DECIUS (RIP).

How do you see Malaysia metal scene? Any good relationship with Malaysian metalheads? Do you listen to any Malaysian bands, who do you think are among the greatest?

Well, I think that sadly, the Malaysian BM scene has been totally annilihated by all these fucked BM-Issues and some good BM bands just came to an end. There are more death and thrash bands in Malaysia nowdays. Well, Im in regular contact with Hamdan (Torpedo) and Amir of Bilharzia/Torpedo/Butohead, who is another good comrade of mine. Im also good friends with Nunth of Nosferiel, amongst others. Well, I think that recently, Ive heard a promo CD by KHEROW and I think that they're a very good band. NOSFERIEL is also another good upcoming band.

I guess some of the best bands in Malaysia are like NEBIRAS, SILENT DEATH, BRAIN DEAD (HAIL!) MANDATORY, TORPEDO, BAZZAH etc.

How about Nechbeyth future plans? How about working with other band on split or may be making your own debut album? How do you see the band I the next decade?

Nechbeyth is in the process of writing new and cult annilihations for a debut album. We are open to offers from elite and supremacist black metal hordes who would want to invoke a split-decimation with Nechbeyth, so it is a possibility in the near future. We also have plans for a possible limited Cult 7" E.P release. The way I see it, Nechbeyth is working towards achieving a cult and elite status with no fucking compromise.

666 hailz for you Feuersturm for this blasphemous interview!!! So, shout out your last vomitz!!! Thanxs bro!!

Salutations and infernal gramercy to you for this interview. Hail all elitists and supremacists! Hail to victory!
