Preseason Round up on the 25th
March 25, 2000, is the first scheduled pre-saeson scrimmage. It will take place at Burlington Arena and The Sout Town Sting will Face off against us, DEATH COW UNITED. They will attempt but will but be silenced come watch the fun unfold, the scheduled time of the game is 11:45.
Post Preseason games 1, March 26th
Coming From Nate, of Death Cow, about the recent hoopla at Burlington Arena.
South Town with the help of Joe Green and Laundrew Diamond of the Thundercats, gave Death Cow a good fight, but Death Cow was too much for them. However all of Death Cow was not present, Fleischmann skipped out to booze it up, we had Carl in net, I beleive Fleisch would have done very well against the play of South Town. We also had Aneheim kid who was signed that day to the South Town Sting, along with Tony Tabbi, these two people should give The Sting, their Sting, besides Captain Nick Mendola, and the speed of Joe Hooley.
I was upset that all of Death Cow couldn't show up, and that the members who were there couldn't play all together, Mike here's an apologie for being pissy on behalf of Death Cow, it's just we wanted to play as our Team.
Preseason Fest April 1st
Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, folks this should be a game to watch, there's Death Cow United organizing with The Ken East head honchos to get a game on SATURDAY. This should a great game. A time is not concrete however it will probably be late, and at either Burlington Arena or Babies R Us Dome.
DEATH COW BREAKS OUT JUNE 13th
To quote Mike Abbott of the Cows "Now the league has seen the REAL DCU!"
Death Cow with one, one hour practice pulled themselves together to handly defeat the Thndercats, in the previous game agianst the Thundercats, DCU lost 9-6, This was revenged by Tuesday night's score of
8-1, in favor of Death Cow. Passing was improved and offense was tuned up, but the big change was Death Cow's defense. Derek Fleischmann faced little shots. Death Cow closed their game in and hustled their bells off.
Nate had six point three from goals and three from assists, Mike and Scott both had four points coming from 2 goals and assists. Gary followed with two points from a goal and assist. There was a total of 16 points earned this game, that ties an all time high in a DCU effort, also it was the First time this season when all members of the Cow had a goal and an assist, in fact it's the first of the league.
