| To set one of these beautifully made AOL icons, right click on the one of your choice and select "Save Picture" then save the picture somewhere on your computer. REMEMBER WHERE YOU SAVED IT. YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW LATER. i reccomend saving it to oyur desktop becuase it easiest to remember, but if u chose a icon that may be offensive to lets say a parent who uses your computer adn u dont want them clickng it on the desktop and seeing it, i suggest u delete it after its been set to as your icon. then go into AIM and select "MY IM" in there select "Edit Options" in there select "preferences" in there select "Buddy Icon" in there should be a button under the list of peopel in your buddy list that says "Browse PC" click that. in what pops up search for where you saved the icon. click the icon then click ok. its set. done. |
