Any Cannibal Corpse album is keeper, my favorites being: Live Cannibalism, Gore Obssessed, Gallery of Suicide, and Tomb of the Mutilated. But it's hard to pick favorites!
Dying Fetus puts on one of the most exciting live shows I've ever seen. They really have a tight lineup. Morbid Angel is just fucking classic death metal! \m/ Deicide's Serpents of the Light and Deicide are some more favs. Nile's In Their Darkened Shrines, Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka and Black Seeds of Vengence are fucking awesome. They have a cool Egyptian theme, so you get to hear Egyptian singing with insanely fast death metal. Black metalwise, Dark Funeral's Diabolis Interium is twisted and has a lot of good vocals and fast paced guitars. You should buy all their albums.
You definitely need to get some Marduk. I've got all their fucking albums, and the Blackcrowned video. Immortal's In the Heart of Winter, Battles in the North and Son's of Northern Darkness fucking kick ass. All of Immortal's albums are keepers! Also Krisiun is one of the best technical bands I've ever seen. Origin has a very fast paced, chasing someone down a hallway with a butcher knife feel to their music. \m/
