Disenfranchised-something that is not allowed to be grieved for (e.g., pet;
abortion; loss of innocence; etc.)
Complicated-some things are tough in a particular grief and can lead to
maladaptive behavior or block progress to good mourning outcomes
Witness-what happens when you are exposed to someone else's grief
Shadow-grief that is not dealt with and is layered (e.g., multiple
losses)
Uncomplicated -normal, healthy or appropriate responses to
loss
Unresolved-the absence of
normal grief; the prolongation of normal grief; distortion of normal grief
