400.gif (1005 bytes) "How did you get through other losses?" (Looking for coping mechanisms)
400.gif (1005 bytes) Making plans together (Again, helping to give them some power)
400.gif (1005 bytes) What's the worse thing that could happen?
400.gif (1005 bytes) Be honest.
400.gif (1005 bytes) Have them draw a picture to share meaning with you.
400.gif (1005 bytes) Be real with them.

Most importantly: Find out from the patient what do they want NOW?  From WHOM do you want it?  WHEN do you want it?
