����������� My name is Joshua Balster and I am 22 years old. I am going to TNCC for the graphic arts and fine arts degrees. It seems like I am never going to graduate from here, but when I do, I plan to go to an art school. My main love is film. Film is why I decided to go back to school. I basically took about two years off after high school to work, during which I met my girlfriend of three years now, Julie Ferguson. She was going to TNCC, and she pushed me into going back to school and following what I love to do. |

����������� I've been making movies ever since I was fourteen years old. I grew up in Munster, Indiana, which is right outside of Chicago. �I moved with my parents and little sister to Virginia after I gradated high school. My sister, Carly, hated moving here, but she has gotten used to it now. I also have an older brother who lives in Wisconsin and an older sister who lives in Amsterdam. So I am basically the middle child which isn't too bad. My family has always helped and supported me in my movie making dream. |

����������� I have made about 20 short films and 3 of them have won awards. My passion is film, so during the summer, because of the nice weather, I am out shooting most of the time. My movies are mostly drama or horror, and I am a big fan of shooting in black and white. I wish I could dedicate more time for making movies. I hope that when school is all finished for me I can land an exciting job in the film industry. |
