January 2004 News:
- (Friday,
Jan. 30, 2004) - ATTENTION! For those of you hoping to give our
band a listen, live, you may be in good luck of doing so! We will (hopefully
still be having) a show at our friend, Joe's, house for a 'promotion' party.
That will be February 7th, at 7:00p.m. if it is still happening, you will
be notified if it is not. ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT. Our band is in the process
of making a DEMO CD to deliver to you all, plus a local band known as 'MAXLIDER'.
If we are approved by Maxlider, we may be able to play a show with them at
ISU's BBC. Also appearing at the show is: None Taken and Nothing Fits. So,
the band is working ever so hard to get this CD complete and delivered, hopefully
we'll be seeing you at the BBC for a show! Thanks! (spread the word)
- (Tues.,
Jan. 13, 2004) - I redid the news area of the site, making it
a little different to navigate around, I also added another 'news' section
involving other music/band news. Look forward to band practice tomorrow!
- (Friday,
Jan. 2, 2004) - The
whole site has had a theme makeover. It's raw. Happy new years everyone, we
wish you all well. Nothing to report, really. So check back, later! (back

December
2003 News:
- (Thurs.,
Dec. 18, 2003) - This page hasn't been updated
in awhile. First, let's update the earliest:
We had a good time setting up and performing in the Bloomington High School
auditorium a few days back (Friday, 12th). We performed 2 songs but played
1 of those songs twice so all-in-all we played 3 songs (Lies 2x, and another
song that we may title either Staked Heart or Another Way). We have things
recorded from that performance, video and mp3s. They are not of awesome quality,
but they are damn good for what we have.
-
Yesterday, we had band practice. Mark could not attend for ... various reasons,
left unmentioned. We did pretty good, and got a new song near completion and
it sounds pretty damn sweet. We're (hopefully) going to have a few multiple
practices within the next few days as well, beings that Christmas Eve is coming
up and we may not be able to practice on that day. We're not too sure yet.
-
Our show scheduled for Friday, December 19th at Normal Community West High
School has been postponed to January 16th, 2004 at Normal Community West High
School. For more information on that, contact Jim. (back

- (Wed.,
Dec. 3, 2003) -
Yeah, band practice went really well. We actually
are starting a list of songs we have going now. Here's what we have:
- Lies
(Breaking You Down)
- Clint
Eastwood (cover from the gorillaz)
- (a
song nick wrote lyrically, i can't remember the title at the moment)
- F.K.W.D.
(originally done with myself 'tj', and Giano)
- And
a really slow type song that we just jam to, we'll probably call
it BLIND, I think?
Anyhow, we really
have started to get things rolling, off to an awesome start. Wednesdays are
definitly the greatest days on my list. Hah, check you all later.

- (Tues.,
Dec. 2, 2003) - Okay,
yes the site has been altered a little, you know that by now. Looks sweet
doesn't it? Okay, band practice is tomorrow, it's an open one, so come if
you'd like ... it's at Jeff's house, as usual. I have a bit of news, next
friday (the 12th), we have a small show. HOLY SHIT, right? Well, like I said,
it's small, and I mean small. We're playing one or two songs for a 'show and
tell' for a class of mine. My psychology for living class taught by Mrs. Steffen
is having a 'show and tell' so I'm bringing in my band, and we're going to
.. well show and tell our work. Some people are skipping out of 7th hour to
complete this, including all of the members of the band, however, I do not
believe Jim (the bassist) will be able to make it, for he goes to a different
school, and his school will still be in session during this performance. So,
if you want to join in on watching us, check us out at a practice or come
to our little show, you must attend Bloomington High School to attend, and
you run the risk of skipping 7th hour and getting caught, haha.. Talk to me
or one of the guys about it if you're interested. Thank you. I'll update tomorrow
about the practice!

November 2003 News:
- (Wed.,
Nov. 26, 2003) -
Today was sweet, Nick wasn't there, however, he
was feeling ill. I (TJ) was ill last week, hence the lack of update for last
week. We started a new song today, no name for it yet ... but what we have
of it sounds pretty damn cool. We also started working on our cover tune,
we decided to do our own rendition of The Gorillaz's Clint Eastwood. Sounded
pretty good. There are pictures of today's practice in the media section.
Otherwise, that was practice today, it went well...although Mark ended up
breaking his guitar somehow, lucky him. Later.

- (Fri.,
Nov. 14, 2003) - We had practice again,
this week. It wasn't as good as last practice, but it was really damn good
no matter what. We finished up our newest song, and hopefully we'll soon figure
out what song we wish to cover. Alright, band t-shirts are finished printing,
NO MORE WILL BE MADE. Few are left, get what you can, while you can.

- (Wed.,
Nov. 5, 2003) - Just got back from practice
over at Jeff's house. We've had a pretty successful past 2 practices now that
we have finally captured Jim and brought him to practice. He's really got
us all motivated and set on getting shit done. Today, we worked a lot on our
new song ... not too sure what to really name it as for lyrics are still being
altered here and there ... but it was referred to as "As Society Fades
to Today" until we changed the lyrics around. We do pretty much have
that song finished up except for a few timing keys and whatnot. We also did
more practice on our first "Lies" and it seemed to go a bit faster
and heavier this time ... a BIG plus, we have a new way of playing it, as
it is still the same, however. We may have an open session practice next week,
for it is Mark's birthday and he wants to have one for him ... so that could
be a possibility.

I've redone the site again. Looks pretty nifty if I do say so myself! Enjoy.

October 2003 News:
- (Thur.,
Oct. 30, 2003) -
We had a pretty sweet band practice yesterday. Jim showed up, well we
picked him up from stepclub, at West. He's pretty damn good at what he does,
and him and Jeff seem to click real well and love to get things done and going,
which made practice all more successful. We almost have our song 'As Society
Fades to Today' completed, 'Lies' now basically has a bass line. So, we did
real well yesterday.
I (TJ) am currently working on our T-shirts, 28 shirts have been ordered to
be made, no extras will be made unless otherwise noted. Talk to me if you
have questions.

- (Wed.,
Oct. 22, 2003) - Dude,
seriously this was a pretty good practice then what I had anticipated. Jeff
left his double bass pedal in someone's car that lives 20 minutes away, and
we had to end practice early. . . but, we got a whole 'nother song down. Recently,
I (TJ), had been working on a song of my own entitled 'Sitting Here With You'
for my own independent use, and then I started playing it at practice and
everything just fell in place, and we now have our second song down, it was
soooo cool, anyhow. I guess things kinda work out better when there's not
so many distractions and people around when we practice, but I duno! Alright,
check back later for more shit, that's what happened with the band recently,
and yep..bye.

- (Mon.,
Oct. 6th, 2003) - The
site has undergone a lot of changes. I hope you all like the new look/layout.
The site should be easier to navigate now and have a positive impact on the
way this all reacts.

Wrapped
up a semi-productive practice. Jim, our "try-out" bassist or whatever...was
unavailble again to appear and complete things up with bass. We ended up practicing
'Lies (Breaking You Down)' again, and started working on a new song, that
doesn't sound too bad until the chorus kicks in. That's just the way it goes,
though. Not much else happened, but most of the productivity came around when
Mark ended up leaving practice with his girlfriend. Nick is grounded, now,
for skipping school. . .so there will be no practice this next wednesday,
but hopefully we'll be able to pull it off this next friday, we'll have to
wait and see. Until next time. . .
