| Now, I could BS this completely, simply to suck up, but it's the end of the year, and by the time this is reviewed, we'll be out of school anyway (I hope). Well, to start out, on a more serious note, I truly have grown as a writer; but due to the not the caring, constructive manner of eighth or seventh grade, or even the slightly more loose nineth grade, but, rather, by getting struck down time after time, and rebuilt even better each time. By pouring hours of one's weekend on a paper, trying to get it done as well as possible, only to get a mediocre grade. At those times, I think about giving up altogether. However, it was a most enlightening year, to say the least. I went in there from last year thinking it could not get any worse, but I was sure wrong. In truth, I really do feel achomplished and prepared for AP English next year! It's just a shame I won't be taking AP English next year. But that's alright, it's been fun cleaning desks, being publically humiliated, and screamed at. Looking at the positive side, I did learn what a red herring was. Next time I'll think twice before ordering fish. |
