Competent communication should not simply stop at the border between the Spanish and English languages, especially in an area like this in which we live! That barrier must be brocken if one is to thrive among our Mexican brothers and sisters. I've done just that in this Spanish comercial, it was presented live in front of my peers, and so I had to reherse and master my lines to perfection. This was indubitably my first step to mastering the Spanish language itself in all of its complexities and such. It was a small step, no doubt, but the commercial presentation was, by any means, practical, and the vocabulary is viable to fit in almost any conversation. And so I am a justified competent communicator in both English and Spanish. |
