Essentials Tips: Dollars and Sense

Written By Denise Autry, Certified Nutritionist and Registered Nurse

Sometimes, the cost of supplementation can be a primary reason for someone stopping (or never starting) a nutritional program. This is a very valid concern and therefore deserves some discussion.

First, lets put the cost in perspective. If you walked out to your car one morning and discovered that all four tires were flat and beyond repair, what would you do? Odds are (after a brief display of emotion) you would find the money to purchase new tires, because transportation is vital to your daily productivity. You wouldnt consider not getting tires because of cost, would you? Of course not. Now, you may shop around to get the best value for the dollar spent, but you would still spend the dollar.

You need to look at supplementation in that light. The research is there to support the conclusion that supplements are that vital. Once you become convinced of the importance of supplementation for your daily productivity and quality of life, cost becomes relative. Once you realize that every dollar spent on supplements may be a hedge against an illness or an incapacitate old age, you will begin to view the money spent on supplements as an investment. As you gain personal experience with supplementation, as you become more and more informed, as the power of nutrition becomes personally apparent to you, we know you will agree. You wont consider not buying supplements.

So then it becomes a question of getting the best value for your dollar. With Custom Essentials, you can be sure that you are. I recently analyzed the average cost of a months supply of separate ingredients at a national health food chain. Boy! I already knew we were a great value, but this little analysis impressed ME! The average monthly cost for all ingredients in the average Custom Essentials, purchased at the health food store, was $92.15 per month AND to get all the ingredients you needed to purchase between 11 and 12 separate bottles AND you needed to take between 12 and 15 pills per day! Compare that to the low cost of your Custom Essentials and to taking just 6 capsules per day! Actually, there is no comparison. Custom Essentials absolutely gives you the best value for your dollar. Now, doesnt that make (dollars and) sense?
