JAYWALKING
DEATH AND LIFE
The other day I jaywalked across a street....quickly looked both ways and ran across.   No big deal....but a few minutes later there were ambulances all over
where I had just been.  A van had a broken windshield and a puddle of blood lay nearby.  I went to the scene of the accident and saw briefly saw inside the
ambulance window....only to see paramedics pumping on a fellow jaywalkers chest trying to revive him.   I am not sure what happened to him...but a vision quickly
flashed in my head...of seeing myself on the stretcher.   Now I always walk to the intersection and wait for the lights to change.  A split second of
indecision jaywalking across the street and life may be over.

NY MOMENT
One Wednesday my friend Jamie invited me to an internet party.  Little did I know that this company was big on splurging funds and had rented out an
Aircraft Carrier...an Aircraft Carrier.  To make things better there was free food,  R&B/Rock bands, a computer flight simulator and an open bar.  Standing
on the deck of an Aircraft Carrier used in WW2...with NY city's crisp skyline on one side and the Hudson River on the other side was something I will never
forget.  And the next day at work I will want never want to remember...
