SIMPLICITY
I am putting together a new type of everyday clothing with some of my designer friends. I basically want create my own clothes and to promote simplicity and creativity.
Back to the Basics Idea: To create a simple & inexpensive one-piece clothing. These clothes will be made out of a common, simple, comfortable material. They will have a small section that will give you a chance to add your personality to it with a simple small lapel/symbol. Creativity is encouraged with this lapel. It will not have a brandname...it will not be made in sweat shops, it will not be marketed, it will not be overpriced and it will be available to anyone and everyone.
The main point behind the clothing is that there will be no distinction at all between class or socio economic status. Everyone will have a chance to purchase this clothing for almost nothing and/or will be encouraged to make the clothes for themselves. The time/money/energy I currently put into clothes shopping will be directed to other pursuits.
