The following are the normal values of a semen analysis, according to the World Health Organization...with the suggestion that these are only a ROUGH GUIDELINE:

For those concerned with infertility questions, sperm counts are not considered low until they are under 20 million per mL, and are considered poor at 5 million per mL. Motility is considered poor when it is less than 20% of all sperm being motile.
And remember, it is important to get the sample to the lab within an hour of its production in order to have as accurate an analysis as possible!
