17. "Hi Justin, what's up?," Venessa asked laying down on her bed thinking about his face, thinking about what would happen later that night.
"Nothing much. Just thinking about you," Justin flirted.
"And what are you thinking?
"About what's going to happen tonight. When we're together, when our bodies are together." He enjoyed all of this. Having all the girls drool over him was what he wanted. That was what kept him going. He knew he could have anyone that he wanted but he made sure they came to him.
"So, are you going to come over or what?" Venessa asked, just like the last time last week.
"I think you should come over. My mom really wants to see you."
"Name the place and time.
"At 9, see you then." Justin hung up the phone. He walked over to his drawer and pulled out a picture of him and Venessa when they were in middle school. It was 'Sports Day' and they both dressed up as North Carolina fans and were covered in all baby blue, even their hair. Justin smiled as he remembered that day and he remembered his best friend. His smile turned into a frown as he remembered how everything had changed. He softly dropped the picture back into the drawer and went back to doing what ever he could of his homework. He usually got one of the girls who were in love with him to finish it.
I don't wanna do right/ I just want you tonight/ Not just only in my dreams/ Save my best behavior for a little later/ 'Cause I'm only 17/ Think I made my mind up/ I got time to grow up/ Face responsibility/ Livin' in the moment/ Keepin' my heart open/ While I'm only 17
Venessa stepped out of her Mercedes Benz, into Justin's driveway. His parent's car wasn't there so she knew it was just going to be him and her. She rang the doorbell and he answered in a black wife beater and a pair of dark denim jeans. He pulled her in by the waist and began kissing passionately immediately. That tongue that everyone talked about explored her mouth. They walked upstairs slowly one step at a time, still engaged in their passion. They finally got to his room and fell onto the bed, Justin on top of her. Justin ended the kiss and looked up and down at her chest. He began unbuttoning her shirt and once her bra and stomach was exposed, he planted kisses all over. Venessa closed her eyes as the warmth of his mouth on her body fulfilled her.
He stopped at the top of her pants and looked up at her. Venessa knew what he was thinking. She was a virgin but she didn't care. If she could have Justin as her first then that was what she wanted. Justin knew her secret that she was trying to hide from him. He could tell she was in the 'V Club', of course he wasn't, that happened a long time ago but he didn't want to take hers. If it was any other girl, he would, but not Venessa. He started up her stomach again with planting kisses and then landed on her mouth, making her go crazy. He grinded slowly into her making her go even crazier. His body turned over so she was now on top. It was her turn.
Still kissing him, she slid her hand up his shirt, exploring the features that all the girls went crazy over. All that work at the gym and playing football sure paid off. Her hands started going downwards but then they heard the front door open. Both of them stopped, sat up, and looked at the door that was closed but they knew his parents were home.
"What are we going to do?" Venessa asked. What if they got caught? Her parents would never let her out of the house again.
"Just act normal." Justin said, buttoning Venessa's shirt and opening the door.
"They won't think a thing, remember you used to be over here all the time," Justin reminded her. "Just act like we're studying.
He took out his math book and opened it to a random page and got some pencils and paper and began scribbling some answers down.
"Justin?" his mom screamed up the stairs.
"Yeah, mom. I'm in my room. Venessa's over. She's helping me with my homework," Justin lied, smiling at Venessa.
"Really?" his mom practically ran up the stairs into his room.
"Hey Venessa. How are you going?" she asked, giving her a hug and then looking at her. "You sure have changed since the last time I've seen you. Why haven't you been over lately?"
Venessa looked over at Justin, thinking of something to say. His mother couldn't say that they were best friends unless we wanted a "good time" together. "I've just been really busy lately," she smiled, hoping she would believe it. Justin's mom wouldn't suspect anything anyways. She was a nice person who always thought the best of everyone, even Justin. She didn't know about his "sexual" behavior. If she did she would probably have a breakdown.
"Ok, well it's nice to see you again. I'll leave you two alone," she began walking towards the door. "Wait, Venessa, we're having a barbeque on Saturday. Do you want to come?"
Venessa looked at Justin and he nodded. "Yeah sure."
"Ok, well see then sweetie and Justin, remember to clean up your room when Venessa leaves."
"Yeah, okay mom." She closed the door and left the two alone.
"Well, I guess I should leave." Venessa smiled, standing up in front of the bed.
"Well, you know you don't have to," Justin pulled her on top of him and began massaging her thigh with his hand.
"Yeah, but I have to. I'll see you on Saturday I guess," Venessa said before walking out of the room. She said goodbye to his mom and then drove home.
She closed her eyes as she shut off the lights. She didn't feel good about tonight. It didn't go the way she thought it would but she couldn't think of something that went wrong. There was just a place in her that was incomplete.

"So, what happened with you and Justin? Rumor says that you were at his house last night." Venessa's best friend, Tina, asked before taking a bite out of her ice cream bar.
"And how would you know I was at his house last night?"
"I don't know. I just heard it. Maybe he told some of his friends."
"Doubt that," Venessa said, mixing her yogurt with her spoon.
"So, are you going to tell me or what?"
"Hope cause nothing happened. I just helped him with his homework.
"Sure, like I believe that. But if you did then that's good. I don't want you to get your heart broken by Justin. He may come off as sweet but he's like that to all the girls here. Just remember that." Tina said, sounding like a mother.
"Ok, mother hen," Venessa said, sarcastically but the gloomy statement never left her face.

After a long day at school, Venessa finally was home. She laid down with an icepack laying on her forehead. A headache developed in the middle of the day and it felt like it was going to break through her head. The phone rang.
"Hello," she answered.
"Hey, Nessa. Are you okay? You didn't look too good at school today?" Justin's voice came through the phone.
"Yeah, it's just a headache."
"Do you want me to come over and make you feel better?" Justin asked, not thinking of anything sexual.
"No, I'm not up for that now. Thanks for asking, I guess."
"I wasn't thinking like that," Justin said. "I really want it to be like it was before…being friends."
"Do you think that could ever happen again? Everything has changed a lot."
"I want it to. Listen, I got to go but I'll see you on Saturday. Bye." Justin hung up the phone and ran for the door. A different girl every night. He pulled her in and they immediately made no time to talk.
Venessa turned around in her bed. Was he serious about wanting her friendship back or was he just after one thing? That night when she was at his house, he had a chance to have sex with her but didn't. Why? She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

Venessa sat in Justin's backyard where everyone was setting up. It was going to be mostly adults that Venessa had no clue were so, of course, she would be with Justin most of the day.
"Are you hungry?" Justin asked approaching the table, after meeting with a few of his parents' business partners.
"No, I'm okay." Venessa smiled up at him. It was a hot day in Florida so Venessa was squinting. 'His eyes are so beautiful.' Venessa thought, looking into them.
"Okay, let's go up to my room," Justin said, leading her into the house and walking up the stairs to his room. "So…" he said, closing the door. "Did you think about what I said on the phone?"
Venessa thought back to that night. "Kind of, I guess." She sat on his bed while he sat in front of her.
"I meant what I said about being close friends again. I don't want to go on with just doing, you know," Justin blushed.
"Yeah, I know," Venessa chuckled slightly.
"Do you remember this picture?" Justin walked over to his drawer and took out the picture.
"Yeah, you still have it? Venessa asked, taking the picture from Justin and looking at him. She smiled, "That day was so much fun."
"Yes and that's why I want to go back to that. You were my best friend and then I guess I changed." Justin looked down at his hands.
"Yeah, I would like that." Justin looked up at her and smiled. He pulled her into a hug and kissed her on the cheek.
"Will that be the only kissing?" Venessa asked, pulling away from Justin and looking into his blue eyes.
"Only if you want it to be."
Venessa shook her head and leaned in for a kiss. It felt different from the other ones they shared. Maybe this one meant something.
