Born and raised in Lexington NE, It all started when I was about 13 , I had this interest to just play an instrument, I really didn't know what at the time. But then it hit me one day, I'm a very destructive person so I'm thinkin the drums! After I decided what I wanted to play I looked at a catalog, by the name of Musician's Friend and i found a 400 dollar kit in it , it wasn't anything really all that nice it was just a regular Pulse 5 piece kit. It came with bad cymbals and hardware, but I wasn't complaining, I finally got a kit so I was psyched about it! From then on out I was playing that kit everyday, for hours and hours, right after school that's what I was doing! I was just slammin away on those cans! Sometimes I'd even skip school to play the drums!! That was all I really ever cared about! Then one day I met a guy, by the name of Brogan Else, and we just clicked immediately, we had all the same musical interests. I was a Huge and I mean huge Motley Crue fan at the time I just thought Tommy Lee was the best drummer ever, he just does amazing stuff on the drums, that I couldn't have ever even imagined of doing! From then on out me and Brogan were a "band" just practicing whenever, and where ever! All my main influences to begin with came from Tommy Lee, Rikki Rockett, and Peter Criss. Brogan and I stuck together for about 3 years then stuff just started to change, Brogan lost interest in being in a band cuz we weren't going any where, and then after all that, things just went down hill! Then the beginning of the summer of 2003 began, that changed everything I started talking to a guy by the name of Sam Bedunnah again,and he was tellin me that he was trying to start up a band, so I went over to his house, because he heard I could play the drums, so he was like "play something so I played, and he asked me if I wanted to join his band, and i was like ya, why not, I have nothing to lose, so he set up a rehearsal for the next day, and he started talking about this guy by the name of Kramer, and Im thinking Kramer, who the hell is that!? Practice went really well that day, and Kramer (Justin Kramer) was like you wanna hang out dude, and I was like ya sure, so me and Justin started hanging out a lot practicing and playing, and Justin became my new best friend, it was like we both have the same idea going so I figured this could be great! And I was right this was a really good thing going for me! Then one day me Justin and a few friends were just hanging out in the garage and Justin put in a Tool c.d by the name of Lateralus, and he played track 3 (The Patient) from then on out I became like the biggest tool fan ever I just thought this was a really amazing band, and I was in awe with the drummer!! Towards the end of the summer, I had been trying to convince my old buddy Brogan to check out this band, cause I was tellin him " dude this a really good thing and I think you should be part of it! And he finally came around, and we all just clicked! I was so excited I have my best friends ever in a band that I've always wanted to be in and things have just been great for me ever since then! MY major influences now are pretty much Tool and A Perfect Circle, the way I see it music should have emotion to it and that's what music really is all about, I see this band going some where, in a couple years , I really do believe we all have the potential to become something great! Over Christmas I bought a 7 piece Pearl export series kit, really nice kit I can do a lot more things on that kit than I could of ever done on my 5 piece! I believe that this band will be something great! My philosophy always has been, whether it takes a couple of months or a couple yers, or even a decade this band will make it sooner or later, you just got to have drive to want it bad enough, and to work your ass off to make a living of what you love to do best! I don't rerally know, what is in store for us in the future, we're just gonna "wing it", and see what happens from now to in the future!
