Connex photo's

Connex operate Urban Bus Services in Sydney's South. Ranging from Guidlford, to Yowie Bay, and Rockdale to Garrawarra Hospital. Covering most of Southern Sydney. Their livery is a Yellow Front. Currently Connex is taking delivery of 30 Scania Low Floor Buses with Bustech bodies. Connex also operates the Light Rail, Monorail, Trains in Melbourne and other numerous Transport Networks worldwide.

198web.jpg (79737 bytes) Connex has just started taking delivery of 30 Scania L94UB / Bustech Buses. The ninth in the order number 198 is seen her at Wynyard on Standby during a North Shore Rail shutdown.

Connex operate a large number of Mercedes O305's with Pressed Metal Bodies, and Ansair Bodies. Seen here is a Pressed Metal (PMC) example. This bus was purchased by Connex in 2002 from the STA to operate on their local route service. Registered m/o 1471 and with Fleet number 174 this bus operates out of Taren Point Depot, and is seen departing Janalli for Miranda via Kareela.
Also included in Connex's diverse fleet is this Volvo B10M MkIV with Volgren Body. This bus operates with most of their Volvo's from Menai Depot and is seen displaying Route 971 on it's Desto.
One of the latest Additions to their fleet was 12 Mercedes O405NH's with Bustech Bodies. (165) m/o 8329 was the 6th of these to be delivered, and is seen at Sutherland Interchange departing for Bonnet Bay and Como West on Route 964. Route 964 now stops on the other side of the Station.
(126) m/o 7384 is a Mercedes O405 with Custom Coaches body. Seen at Hurstville Station preparing to depart for Kingsgrove Station. Connex own serveral of these model Buses.

Connex37.JPG (172690 bytes) (37) m/o 64334 is a Leyland Leopard with Custom Coaches body. Connex operate a handful of Rebodied Leyland Leopards which will be disposed of by the end of the year in an effort to standardise their fleet. The chassis from this bus used to operate with the UTA.

Connex74.JPG (155648 bytes) (74) is one of 4 Volvo B6's with Custom Coaches body. This bus was seen on Railway Replacement at Campsie Station.
connex_487.JPG (38706 bytes) (487) is a Scania L94UB with Custom Coaches body. This bus was on trial with Connex for 6 months. It proved quite popular even getting a mention in Truck and Bus Magazine. This bus has led to purchase of 30 Brand New Scania City Buses. This particular unit is now enjoying the sun and surf on the Gold Coast operating for Surfside Buslines who manufacture Bustech Bodies.
