12/15/00: Just When You Think You Have Everything That You Want

My winter break has been extended by one week since I was off everyday
from both the elementary school and from the college due to the snow and
ice. Three of my finals were canceled. It was great.
The problem? (because you see, there is always a problem) I'm already BORED. I have four weeks left of this too . . . You see, I've never been completely off of work and school for so long a time before. I thought it would be so much fun - but so far it sucks. Mostly because the snow and ice keep me in the house. The snow and ice have made a bigger offense than that though - it has prevented Joel from coming home from college today! I hate winter! I think my vacation will be a whole lot more exciting once he comes home. It sucks having a fiancé that lives out of town! After winter break though there will only be 16 more weeks of that! Then we will live together - forever. Forever. Kind of has a nice ring to it doesn't it . . . |
