Summers 2000-Currently: Art Teacher, Indiana County Guidance Center, Summer Treatment Program Camp, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana, Pennsylvania, 15701. Art education responsibilities include, creating age appropriate art lessons, demonstrating art techniques, adapting lessons according to special needs of students, and evaluating student art work. Promoting positive relationships and behavior, ensuring the safety of the students and others, and directing students to stay on task. The program is for children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and is an intensive therapeutic, socialization, and recreational program designed to meet the unique mental health needs of these children.

10/00-6/04: Substitute Teacher, Marion Center Area School District and Indiana Area School District, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Instruction of elementary and secondary students in many subjects, including art. Implementation of instructor�s lessons and following the daily routine of the absent teacher.

11/01-6/04: Homebound Instructor, Marion Center Area School District, Marion Center, Pennsylvania, 15759. As a homebound instructor, I follow the students curriculum set by the school. Adaptations followed which are set by the IEP.

2/1- 6/2/00: Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS) worker, Indiana County Guidance Center, 699 Philadelphia Street, Indiana, Pennsylvania, 15701. Provide therapeutic support to the child or adolescent in specified areas of social, behavioral, and emotional concern and needs that have been specified in their treatment plan. Extensive experience with promoting positive relationships and behavior and ensuring the safety of the child and others.

10/25- 12/15/99: Elementary Art Specialist, Grandview Elementary, Derry Area School District, Derry, Pennsylvania, 15627. Employed as a student teacher. Observed, assisted, and taught second through fifth grade in art production, art criticism, and art history. Developed daily lesson plans, demonstrated art techniques, and supported student learning.

9/1-10/22/99: Secondary Art Specialist, Indiana Junior High School, Indiana Area School District, Indiana, Pennsylvania, 15701. Employed as a student teacher.
