A LITTLE BACKGROUND
I graduated with a B.A.
from the School of Art at Ball State University. I studied graphic
design, illustration, creative writing and a little anthropology,
comparitive religious studies and mythology. I was also an active
member of the Native American Student Association on campus.
Upon graduation, I worked as a graphic artist for a local newspaper where I won several awards for my advertising layouts. I was Art Director for Studebaker International before moving on to work for Mad Man Marketing full time and then freelance. My latest full time position was at Brinkman Press where I picked up a few tips on the printing side of the graphics business.
Writing is another creative outlet I have enjoyed. I have been published in a local paper as well as in travel brochures and website for LeSea Tours.
CURRENTLY...
I am working with Black Forest Productions and dabbling in the movie business. I am also continuing to accept commissions for fine art pieces as well as freelancing with my graphic design and writing skills.
JUST ME...
What can I say about me?
I'm just me!
I love mythology, fantasy and sci-fi. I was a Trekker
in childhood, I admit it! I was also raised on all those great
classic horror flicks. Nothing really compares to the classics
when it comes to suspense! I can't help it, I'm a fan of the
vampire tales. Oh, Bela Legosi where are you now!
I love to read! It's another
way to escape this reality and live in another world and time.
A few of my favorite authors are Ann Rice, Dean Koontz, and Chelsea
Quinn Yarbro.
I love to travel and see
different places! I've been to Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle
East and of course various places around my own wonderful country!
To stand in the shadow of ancient buildings that have stood for
thousands of years is a truely awesome experience! You can almost
see and feel the past. Let's not forget the people & cultures!
I have met some wonderful people in every country I've been to!
Did I mention that I'm
an Indiana Jones fan? Gee I bet that is a real shocker! :)
I practice the martial
art of Tai Chi Chuan to strengthen that mind body connection
as well as for its practical application in selfdefense. I believe
in finding that balance within ourselves and not fighting the
flow of nature that the Divine has given to us. When you know
and respect your inner nature, you know where you belong and
where you don't belong! This is a difficult thing to do.
To quote Messiah Yeshua,
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and
broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through
it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life,
and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)
It is simple to take the
easy road (the broad gate) and follow society. Been there, done
that. That's not much fun now is it? The narrow gate is difficult,
but a lot more rewarding!
Always seek your true path.
YOU WILL FIND IT!
