Hello, you have reached my very basic website.

I am a physicist at Ottawa High School in Ottawa, Kansas. I earned bachelor's and master's degrees in physics from
Emporia State University, and I am working on a graduate program in education through Fort Hays State University.
I also worked as a non-MLS reference librarian at the Emporia Public Library from 2002 to 2005, and as an Admissions
Counselor for Emporia State University from 1998 to 1999.

I am interested in virtually every area of science and technology, making it difficult for me to say what is my "favorite". I picked
physics as my field of study because in studying it I feel closer to the ultimate goal of understanding everything.
As I am sure you understand, in this quest, it is the journey and not the goal which is of greatest importance.

I have significant interests in astrophysics, gravitation, fractal mathematics/nonlinear dynamics, and remote sensing/geospatial analysis.

On October 6, 2001, I married the most wonderful woman, Diana Staresinic. We had been high school classmates, even
went to senior prom together; stayed in touch, saw each other occasionally, even though I attended college in the
midwest, and she at the University of Southern California. We happily went about our seperate
lives for years, before circumstances arranged themselves to where we were rather broadsided with the realization that, hey,
wait a minute...!!! And so all good love stories should "begin", after a decade of friendship.

This webpage is rudimentary at best, and in need of some housekeeping. Eventually I will be expanding and putting more
online, including some of my undergraduate papers, research, and creative endeavors. Please check back in the future!

If you went to high school with me, check out the work of one of my beloved friends, Brandi Bratcher, who may very well
carry the title of "Official Sumner Academy of Arts and Science Class of 1994 Webmaster". We all owe her a tremendous
debt of gratitude. Visit the Class of 1994 Homepage. One of the best Sumner Academy alumni pages that is not year-specific
is www.sumneracademy.com. Hopefully the forums will be back up there shortly. Also, be sure to check out the Sumner
groups and search for Sumner alumni at Facebook and Myspace.

Hey, I took the "What OS are you" quiz, and I am:
You are Slackware Linux. You are the brightest among your peers, but are often mistaken as insane. Your elegant solutions to problems often take a little longer, but require much less effort to complete.
Which OS are You?
