Below are photos from various productions I've worked on, as well as a brief explanation of how the set was created. Enjoy!
Unbroken Circle, 2005, Israeli/Palestinian Kitchen - This three-walled set was built inside one of the large rooms at the Tustin Air Force Base. The props were all either donated or bought for next to nothing. The walls are dry wall sheets attached to a standard wood wall frame. The concrete wall seen out the window is actually foam board painted gray.

Pera Palas, Antaeus Theatre Company, Boston Court Theater, 2005 - This is the bottom floor of a two story background set. The entire background took about a month to build. In the background, there are two large posters. Each poster covers a door. The bench that everyone is sitting on is a combination of two benches fastened together then covered on top with a series of large flatboards and fabric. Photo Credit - Ed Krieger
