HOW TO DO SOME TRICKS!!!

The kick flip was invented by Rodney Mullen in the early 90's, back then the trick was considered very technical but now it is one of the most basic street moves. The trick itself is just using your front toes to spin the board over, sounds easy, yes. Is easy, no. It will take a very long time to learn this trick. To do a kick flip put your front foot in between the middle of the board and the front screws with your heel hanging off the side and put your back foot in the Ollie position. Bend you knees and as you start your jump bring your front foot up the board, when it reaches the nose flick it to the heel side of the board using your toes causing it to flip towards your heel. It is important that you stay above you board while the board is flipping by leaning over your front foot. After the flick bring your feet over the board. As soon as the board finishes the spin catch it with you feet over the bolts, land and absorb the shock by bending your knees.

To successfully Ollie down stairs for the first time is a pretty exciting thing. There are a few things that you need To Ollie down stairs. First of all, the Ollie, secondly speed and lastly is control. Lets say your Ollie is 1.5 foot high, going at a medium-slow speed can get you up and down small curbs. going at a medium speed can get you down 2-5 or maybe more stairs, going very fast can get you down ten stairs+ (a step can be different height or length so this measurement is not very accurate) but you need a lot of control to put it together or the Ollie won't work. You should start with Ollieing 2-3 stairs, I recommend 2, but before you rush into stairs Ollie one step, then take something long like a stick and place it a few inches away from the edge of the step. As you get comfortable with this place the stick further away from the edge of the step. When you can do this for about half a foot (although if you can do it longer it would be better) you are ready for the next stage the height. Find a ledge the height of the stair case you want to Ollie, a long grinding box is perfect, just Ollie it. Once you did that go to a stair case and Ollie it, while you do that there are a few things you must remember to do. Firstly you need to pop a decent Ollie, this is not very necessary for two of three stairs but you need to start of on the right foot. Secondly, keep your board directly under you, do not push if forward in order to get more distance, and lastly, remember to bring you back foot up, do not have the board hanging at 30 degrees while in the air. During the first few tries you may just kick the board away but with determination and control you will get it. GOOD LUCK. The 50-50 grind is the most basic grind but that doesn't mean its a walk in the park. To do a 50-50 approach an obstacle in a slight angle with your feet in the Ollie position.
