| This is just a little page about l'il ole me. Here you'll find mostly links to my White Wolf Characters, and a little about me. Though my husband is paranoid about stalkers and suitors, so it won't be too detailed, but I'm sure you'll get over that. A quick history of me.. starts in the Philippines at Clark AFB where I was born in 1959. Yes, that's right, I'm old. Well, in years anyway and compared to most of you who I chat/visit with. I don't hardly feel that old most of the time, so hey, it's only a number anyway. Moving on.. which as an Air Force Brat I did an awful lot of growing up. From the Philippines we went to Texas, to Colorado, to Mississippi, to Texas, to Massachusetts, to Virginia, to New Mexico (parents split), to Texas again. That's where I graduated High School in 1977. I then attended school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas and that's where I met and married my wonderful, Steve. You'd think the travelling would have stopped by now, guess again, banana breath. With his job we've since lived in Phoenix, Arizona and then Guam. Along the way we somehow managed to pick up three terrific kids (don't tell anyone, but the last one we picked up at Ringling's Circus.. shhhh). Now, fortunately, we're back in Lubbock where the kids are growing up and moving out - finally! And, that's pretty much it! Lots of life and drama and laughter and tears along the way, but the story's still in the making, so no 'living happily ever after' guarantee here - yet. Oh, and by the way, we have our own internet business, Quixtar... if /you're/ interested in making money shopping online, check it out. Our IBO number (they'll ask you if you have a reference) is 2018507. I suppose I should also include some of my likes etc. I like to scrapbook, camping and scouts, play/listen to music of ALL types, draw (though I'm WAY out of practice), read and garden. We have lots of pets, at the moment they include Champ - a Boston Terrier; Buster Brown, Stinky Spazbuddy, and Kristie - all ferrets; KC, Tiger, Ashes and Nicky - cats; and a tank of salt water reef fish. Yes, the house stinks. But the loving more than makes up for it! *Note* We lost our Buddy Ferret on Saturday, September 13, 2003. He got something blocked in his intestines, and less than 48 hours later, he passed away. Poor little Buddy! We all miss him terribly! *Note2* Kristie passes away this past month (March 04). She was eight years old, and just got worn out. Rest well, and be nice to Buddy at the Rainbow Bridge! September 27, 2003, on a campout with the Boy Scouts for my Brotherhood Ordeal with the Order of the Arrow I, like an idiot, slipped on a trail and landed on my right ankle snapping that puppy in three places. Now, a surgery, a metal plate and eight screws later, I am anxious to get the cast removed. And I seriously do NOT plan on repeating this any time soon! UPCOMING: May 22, 2004 my oldest son is getting married! Her name is Jennifer Adams, she's from El Paso and Cloudcroft, she's a horticulture major at Texas Tech and we ALL adore her to pieces!! |
