MARGO
Child of the Streets
Warrior of the Night
Margo, the Orphan waif, discovered by Narce Lockwood at a random feast by the Barrenite Priest, Lucian, and taken under his wing along with her younger companion Angel, has encountered more frightening and dangerous things than most people four times her age.

At about 15 yrs of age in the year 1003, she was adopted into the gang after Narce, Raziel Snowbranch and Brackus rescued her from some abusive men and helped to get her head on straight.  After getting used time and again as a pawn in the power wars of the likes of Jewel (she was coerced into an addiction to a deadly drug), Gideon (a fallen angel), the Hoods and other unnamed dark and evil entities, she is slowly finding her niche in the dark Underworld.  Much of the darker things, she is left free of, maintaining an air of innocence even amongst liars, beggars and thieves, holding a place of respect and adoration from the many homeless and motherless that she tends to day in and day out in the walls of her beloved Bowl.

A slow and painful recovery from a second near death at the claws of a great shadow sent to torment her in order to manipulate Raziel (she was drained of her life's blood once by a vampire under the employ of Jewel, and returned to the living due to the great sacrifice of the fallen angel Gideon) she seeks a purpose in her life and seeks a way to prevent others from suffering similar attacks.  She finds some hope in the organization of Death Stalkers, a union of men and women sworn to fight the evil of undead that walks the earth to keep others safe.  More than a year has passed now, as she reaches the pinacle of a Stalker's knowledge and abilities.  Armed to the teeth, she almost fearlessly faces any undead that deigns to come her way.

Save for that over powered vampire that has challenged her.. and continues to
stalk her!
Beggar's Bowl Soup Kitchen (and Clinic)

A mid-sized room in a wooden building, with cracks in the walls that leaves the space chilled even on the warmest of days.  An uneven wooden floor is spaced with two long trestle (picnic) tables, lined with benches and seating for about forty if you sit real close.  The serving line is in the back, near the kitchen and a hearty aroma wafts out during the day and the two meals that are offered by Margo and her friends.

A door on the left leads to a second room, filled with cots and bedding for those in need of more secure sleeping conditions.  Margo's office is here as well, and storage.

Food fare:

Mostly leftovers and scraps from other taverns, goulashes stews and fresh breads from their own ovens.  Occasional donations of mammoth meat or the like would give other options, but they are rare.  Ale is the drink of choice, though on special events some cheap wine may be procurred.

At night, the tables are pushed back, or occupied by sleepers, as is the floor generally packed from one end to the other, with bodies of all shapes, sizes and ages, generally with as many as sixty cramped into every corner. There is a light kept on in the kitchen all night, and folks don't usually tolerate disturbances much.
