Celye vanHooft-MacKenzie Human Craftsman
Speciality - Leather
If it's leather, she can make it, and it won't look like any other ordinary item.  She has a knack for adding those little touches that make a plain set of braces something to admire.  Though she doesn't get much recognition with the traditional craft guilds, Celye can tool with the best of them and she's determined to earn her Craft Master despite the odds against her.

Seems there is a man capable of taming this little spitfire, and he's put his name on her just to make sure she doesn't slip away.  That's right, Celye's got hitched!  A sailor stole her heart and swept her off her feet.  Who'da thunk?

Five foot nothing of pure spitfire and energy, she takes none of the crap the horny men folk of Fangsfall try throwing her way.  As a matter of fact, they're likely to get a fist in the eye or a knee to the groin if the pursue it too far!

Celye currently resides in a small hovel on the waterfront in the southern Bayside shanties along with her Uncle Herman and her faithful donkey, Jack.  Most folks would notice the moment she opens her mouth that Celye doesn't sound like the other locals, but has a rather unique, and most likely annoying accent and way of speaking.  She's proud of her work and won't think twice about telling anyone she can get to listen, but her personal life seems to be more of a mystery.
=======
Recently, her new friend Simone put up the cash to pay for a room for Celye at The Defeated Kings Tavern in town, and Celye has found it a welcome respite from life in the hovel with her demanding Uncle.  It also gives her a place to socialize, something Uncle would definitely not approve of.  She has started keeping some
items that she would prefer Uncle not know about, and the income she was earning which he had been taking as 'his right' as her guardian.

Master Bragol has announced that he's going to be leaving town for a while, and gifted his little spitfire of a journeyman a full set of Masterwork Leather Tools, though Celye has started to wonder if she'll ever get that Masters credential without a mentor.
=======
Celye has acquired the ellusive Master level with her masterpiece a fine bit of work for a customer, a MW Studded Leather Armor, and if that wasn't enough, she followed it up with an exquistely made and tooled saddle for the Cleric Tavik's chimerical mount.  A finer saddle will not be found in all of Fangsfall!
=======
Celye confronted Herman about her past and her family, but he was unable, or unwilling to divulge much information.  Following one of his drunken binges she searched his trunk and discovered a note, a marker really, and a signet ring; the pair giving some evidence that Celye may have roots in a noble family somewhere in Calastia.  She's not quite sure how to take this, but she knows she can't stay where she is.  So, she moved out of the hut and into the room at the Kings and is eagerly planning her upcoming nuptuals with the dashing if oft absent sailor, Rorke.
=======
Rorke and Celye tied the knot in a VERY impromtu gathering on the streets just out front of Skulls, when she literally accosted Brother Machaon to perform the rites right then and there.  He did so without qualms and a few short vows later pronounced the pair husband and wife, was paid for his services and the pair skipped off to start their new life together.

At this point, Celye and Rorke are searching for some open land in hopes of beginning a ranch and to breed and raise horses, in the meantime Celye continues to work her leathers and Rorke finds whatever work he can.  Nothing has been heard from "Uncle" Herman in months, and it is suspected he either left town, died of one or another disease that plagues the shanties, or was done in by a gambling bet gone wrong.
