Born of the Cheyenne Indians in the Northern Rockie Mountains, Aurora is one of the last of the Uktena who honors and practices the Old Ways. She is quiet, and slow to anger, preferring to watch from the sidelines as the more volatile Lords, Talons, Fangs and Gets fight for power and prestige. She is skilled with the crafts of her people, and gifted in passing along the blessings of The Mother Of Us All. A blanket woven on her loom, or medallion beaded with her hands is rarely a simple trinket, but is usually found to provide the owner with peace and serenity, depending upon their needs. |

At 35 years old, Aurora has seen a great deal of sadness and very little joy. She serves as a Scout and Messenger, it is her destiny to bear mostly ill tidings to Gaia's children, whether it be news of the passing of a family member or a warning for impertinant behavior and the years have worn on her.
She has almost managed to settle down in the forest around Necropolis, having established a rather cozy home beneath the falls in a rather secluded and quiet part of the forest. Of course she claims she has done it so as to keep a wary eye out on her charge, one rare and very special shifter, but she knows now that even Dixie doesn't need - or want - anyone to watch over her.
So, she does as she's bid, when necessary, and in the meantime she contents herself to her handiwork, creating beautiful items to sell at the local shops for pocket change, and watches the world of Shifters and Mortals go on about her. |
