The Chosho Academy
My hobbies and interests include riding motorcycles(preferably on a race track), watching Grand Prix & World Superbike Racing. I also practice martial arts for which I am working hard towards my black belt hopefully in Febuary 2007.  Our club is called 'The Chosho Academy' and although our base style is Wado-Ryu Karate, we also have a good mix of many other systems such as Muay Thai, Ju Jitsu, Judo, Kali (escrima) and Aikido.  It's very much the concept that Bruce Lee embraced in 'Jeet Kune Do' , 'using 'no way as way' and adapting to other fighting styles.  Chosho is very functional & a practical system for the street.  Why not take a look.
Other Info!
I have a very small family that includes my smashing Mum (Dawn), Malcolm, my sister Lisa, Nethew Jamie & Neice Jenna and of course my little Nan Edna.  My dear Dad (Tom Baldwin) During Thursday 31st June at 7am my dear Dad peacefully passed away while myself and my Sister held his hand.
He was a remarkable man, was larger than life and will be sorely missed by his students, friends and his family.  Martial arts was his life and ever since he was 18yrs old when he studyed under an old Japanese Sensai, he was contributed so much to his passion and eventually became Soke (10th Dan) and was also the co-founder of the British & World Federation of martial Arts. To me though he was much more than just a great martial artist.  He was my father and was an inspiration for me ever since I was a little boy and will continue to be for the rest of my years.  I know he will always be there watching over me now, I just hope that I can make him proud?!   I will miss him so much!.
I am 5 foot 11 inches tall and because of the sort of training I undertake, I have a heavyish build.
The sort of music I listen to is varied and it really depends what sort of mood I am in. I mostly like rock music like 'Guns & Roses, Bon Jovi, Queen, Aerosmith' etc... I also like most dance tracks, soul and R&B.
I practically live on pasta and l love steak cooked medium rare of course! My legends include
Bruce Lee & of course  Mick Doohan!
I have many very good friends and near enough all of them are into bikes.  Steve Harris with his SP1, Steve & Willsone and his Fireblade, Alistair Gager with his GSXR750, Terry Wall with his Modified GSXR1100 & of course Pete Dent with his R1.  Also how can I forget my friends from Chosho, sensai Steve Merrett & his wife Sharon & son Simon. Also Ian, Ken, Dean, Mark, Al, Nick, Lance and John.....

Then there is our other good friends that I have known for years
Al & Lin who are now residing in Spain & I miss them terribly,  Terry & Alison, they are all into bikes and all of them ride.
