Another good buy in the Mick Doohan range is his video: 'Mick Doohan-Profile of a Legand'. It has Mick talking you through most of his life and loads of racing clips. The one for me, was 1997 at Philip Island, when Criville tried to pass when there wasn't room for a fag paper. The end result was that Criville took them both out of the race on the last lap and Capirossi won! Mick stormed back to the pits and had a balzing row with Alex. This was a great insight into the behind the scenes action that we don't see.......... |

Still in 1998 and this was going to be the last that we see of Micks excellence, as the following year he crashed at Jerez and had to retirefrom injury. |

Another reason that 1998 was a great year was that there was a rookie coming into the 500 series and his name was Max Biaggi. Max was fresh from his four dominant years in two-fiftys, but this was a different basket of turbet all together. Max was cocky and confident that he could turf Mick from his domination, He dished out sarcastic coments and thurned this season to a battle of words. Needles to say, Mick not only beat Max in the war of words, but also he abliterated him in the races and won his 5th consecutive world title. |

1998 And here he is having a go in a formula one. Well, if anyone has the ability to give it some stick, Mick does. If my memory is correct, he gave it too much stick and spun out........ |
