| Does my child have homework tonight? |
| If it is Mon-Thurs probably so! Most weeks homework on Monday will be to trace and write the letter of the week, on Tuesday it will be something with our number of the week or another math skill, Wednesday it will be to cover the letter and Thursday it will be another skill we are teaching or to work on word cards (color words, number words, site words). Most weeks your child will not have homework on Friday. |

| Can I send one check for lunch, milk and ice cream? |

| No. You can send lunch and milk money together. It goes to the cafeteria. You can not send ice cream money with them because it goes to the office. |

| How often should I read to my child? How often should they read to me? |
|
| You should read to your child at least 15 min. each day. A perfect time is at bedtime. You should let your child read their trade book or another book on their level to you at least 15 min. each day. Trade books are due back to school on Tuesdays and Fridays. |

| What do I need to do if my child is absent? |

| When they return to school send a doctors note if you have one. If not send a parent note telling us why they were absent. Help them get thier work made up if any is sent home. |
