2006 Raffle Quilt
Each year the Deaf Quilt Guild of Baltimore makes a quilt and raffles it off.  Early in the year several members are choosen by the group to coordinate this project and this year Sherry and Georgia were the lucky ones.  They choose a maple leaf design in multiple colors.  Each member was given a packet with fabric and instructions with a deadline for completion.  After finishing the individual blocks, Sherry and Georgia constructed the queen size quilt and were able to make several other items to raffle off too.  Take a look at the wonderful work our group has done this year.
Here are Georgia and Sherry with the finished quilt.  With the help of many of the ladies in the group this beautiful quilt was raffled off and won by one of our own members, Paula.  We all wanted this quilt and bought a lot of tickets.  Well done ladies!
With left over blocks we  were also able to make a table runner, wall hanging and two pillows (not shown).
