| 1. Be nice to your machine and take it in for maintance once a year. 2. Place used needles in an empty medicine bottle and label it "used needles" for disposal. 3. Do not use the purple disappearing markers if you are going to press the area as this makes the marks permanent. 4. Don't shop for fabric when you are in a bad mood as it affects the type of fabric you choose. Shop early in the morning when the sunlight is at its best. It will give you the truest colors. 5. One quilter buys one half yard more of fabric than needed to cover errors. 6. Quilting ideas come from many places including coloring books, bed linens, greeting cards and geometric designs. |
