| This is my sketch of Duff McKagan, best known as the (former) bassist of Guns N' Roses. As with my drawing of Axl, this is from the Use Your Illusion albums. I just fancied drawing Duff one dull October day, and thought that what with the hair and the tattoos e.t.c. it would be an interesting challenge. Oh, and I happen to think he's a fairly pleasant thing to look at and draw for a few hours. Funnily enough I think the belt and tattoo probably took longer to draw than everything else put together. Dunno why, I guess it just goes that way sometimes. I was fairly satisfied with the result, anyway. I still think it looks okay, or else it wouldn't be on the website! I also drew a picture of Slash, but along with many other pictures I don't think that one's been scanned in just yet, and I didn't reckon it was as good as Duff and Axl's pictures anyway. I'll probably have another go at drawing them sometime. The background is the same as Axl's - just one of many band logos, also from the UYIs. |
