First played on February 17, 1997, this song is just what Europe's been looking for. Disregarding the fact that it was played for Phish's European gigs, this song was fairly popular for the last three years (until 10/7/00). Sung by Trey, Carini is more like a rap-metal hybrid dedicated to Pete Carini, even though the rumors about the shape of his head are not confirmed (listen to the lyrics). Evolving from a Down With Disease jam, Carini has gone through some pretty random changes since 2/17/97. The lyrics have been changed more than once by Trey.
Unfortunately, Carini has stuck to live concerts, and has not been released on album. Lucky hunting for this rarity.
