Acoustic Army

Written by Trey, the song debuted on June 7, 1995. This was at Boise State University Pavilion, in Boise, Idaho. It was only played 27 times since the "Big Break." The piece was played with the purpose of getting all four band members up in the front of the stage to play acoustic guitars. It inspired all the members to show off their talents. The name of the song wasn't really "Acoustic Army," as was later found out within the release of Trey's solo album in 1998, called "One Man's Trash." It was called, "The real taste of Licorice."
The piece was played pretty much the same within all concerts, however, they can range from 2 or so minutes to 5, depending on whether it was a tease, or the real version. It's popularity was only known within the 95 era, from the summer tour(where it was most popular) into the winter, where it practically was dropped from the usual running. Trey had the leading role in the song, but with the other members, it was hard to tell with the cooperative effort. To here an album release of the song, check out "One Man's Trash," by Trey.
