for ages, i have been obsessed with that which is known as "ball-jointed dolls" or "asian ball-jointed dolls". these are gorgeously sculpted, rather large dolls made by small companies, and a handful of artists, mostly in asian countries. BUT
i have always wanted one of my own. and, since i don't have enough money to buy a small car, (which is what these fabulous dolls cost) i thought i would just spend about $200 and make my own. OOOOH.
...............so i made one. her name is olivia rappucini. yes, i made a doll of my character. i love her dearly.
