The US has decided to drop the traditional multi-national allied forces of previous NBA all-star games, and act alone in the upcoming , and some say, innevitable, conflict. The US claims that many countires, such as China and Serbia, have created men of mass dunking, capible of hitting US-defended baskets from as far as 30 feet away. The UN has comdemed the 2004 All-star game saying that the world must act as a whole to create high, action, exiting games. |

As we listen to the top 100, or top 700 boy-bands of North America crank out hit after hit, few pople to to think about the third-world nations, and thier ultra adorable boy bands. With only one top 1000-hit coming from all the boy-bands in sub-Saharan Africa last year, some say that this Africa has fallen behind forever.
Major record executives in the US used to travel to Africa in hopes of finding new bands with hot new sounds to bring home. One producer said ,"We were hoping to find some fresh blood...but we meant that in a metaphorical sence." With the pop-rock scene futures fading, many of the groups are turning to more local customs, such as African rythm beats, pottery and becoming child-slave warriors for mad tyrants. |

Will Canadian Banks Ever Be Allowed To Merge? |

Canadian Banks, such as TD, Bank of Montreal and others who do not want to be named for fear of prosicution, are demanding to be heard on thier issue of same-bank mergers. TD has said, on many occasions, that it is okay for banks to merge in the US, why not here ? Added Bank of Montreal, "We're in love."
The issue of Bank mergers has always been sticky in Canada. some say that it is an unnatural act against god, and that one bank can just as easily perform all the functions of two, five or thirty. Some say that the the law stopping the merger is just a formality, and Bank have been sharing consumer information, profits and living together for decades anyway. Many opposed to the idea have suggested that if the Banks want to merge they should just go to the States where it's legal, and take all thier "city-slicker financial securities garbage with them." |
