7/24- I forgot to write earlier about a song Sharky worked on for the Neverending White Lights project. You can read about this at their website. Click on the audio/video link to hear the beginning of this song.
6/20/04- I updated a few things here and there. Most notably, I added to the compilations list a Devil in the Woods 7" that came out in 2001 and has an alternate version of "Sunfair". I guess we're just waiting for something big from the Creeper Lagoon camp.
3/4- There is now a link to the two live On the Speakers mp3s that I had up previously. Thank you to Chris L. for hosting them. You can find the link on the OTS page.
1/17- Happy New Year. I updated the On the Speakers page, so I put all the old photos on one page and only kept the best ones. Check out www.onthespeakers.com for upcoming tour dates. Maybe they're coming to a town near you! You can read a nice article about them here.
Also, you can now get mp3s of the old Creeper tapes on the Creeper Lagoon website. Word has it they're working on a new full-length. Yay.
2003
12/25- I've run out of space on my website, so I've removed some photos and moved things around. Since the new year is starting, I moved all of the tours from this year to an "old tour" page and I condensed all the setlists onto one page (both can be accessed from the Tour page). I removed all the photo pages from shows this year and just picked a few good photos and these are in the Photo section of the webpage. I removed all the big pictures of album covers, but you all should own all these anyway, so just look at those. I guess that's really all I did, but it was a lot more work than it sounds. I don't have time to check all the links now, so if something isn't working, could you please let me know. Thanks.
10/15- New photos from the Creeper show in SF, Oct 3. There are always new guitar tabs from 'Fro. Get the new On the Speakers EP from their website or Amoeba Records. Go see Creeper Lagoon at the CMJ festival in NYC.
8/10- I added photos and a setlist from the last On the Speakers show. I took down the live mp3s, since the new EP will be available soon. You can hear a few songs from it on their website. If you really want to hear the live versions, email me and maybe we can work out a trade.
7/19- I caught a Creeper show in NYC and it was really great. They played almost all new songs and they sound good. I've added some photos from that show in the tour section. I've also added guitar tabs for all of Remember the Future.
6/19- I'm leaving for a month. Don't forget about the Creeper Lagoon tour! If you take photos of the band or have a picture of the setlist or a tape of a show or a poster you've made and you'd like to share, send them to me. I'll get them up as soon as I get back. Thanks. Enjoy the shows! I will.
5/10- New On the Speakers (OTS) section with 2 live mp3s added.
There will be a Creeper Lagoon tour this summer. Check the official website for locations and dates for the full US tour!
4/19- A few photos from the Berkeley show added to Tour section. Next show 5/23 in Los Gatos.
4/11- On the Speakers are playing regularly in CA, so look at their website listed below. Creeper Lagoon plays Th. 4/17 at Great American Music Hall as part of a benefit for Red Cross. They will also play Fr 4/18 in Lower Sproul Plaza at UC Berkeley at 5pm with Velvet Teen.
3/29- On the Speakers played again last night in SF. They sounded so good. And Dan and Dave from the old Creeper Lagoon played "Dear Deadly" with Ian. It was great! I have loads of photos.
3/1- Both the shows were great! I have put up photos I took at the Creeper Lagoon and On the Speakers Noisepop shows on the tour page.
2/21- Creeper Lagoon is not playing SXSW. They are playing at noisepop in SF on Feb 28 with Imperial Teen.
Ian, ex-member of the band, has a new band called On the Speakers. They are also playing at Noisepop on
Feb 27 at the Make Out Room, 6pm and free! They are making their debut Feb. 24 at Spaceland, LA.
2/8- New online interview with Sharky
1/26/03- Finished putting up the photos and setlists for the tour. The shows I saw were really great!
Creeper Lagoon will be playing at SXSW this year in March, see the tour section for details.
I had to remove the old mp3s to free up space for all the new photos.
1/9/03- Creeper Lagoon is on tour NOW!! Setlists and maybe some photos will be posted as I get them. You can hear an interview with Creeper Lagoon on kexp from Seattle. Go to archived shows and do 1/9/03 as the date and 4:30pm as the time.
2002
12/28/02- I've updated every section of the website and redone the start page. If you have more guitar tabs, news, artwork, photos, tour information, or anything else, you can email me.
I'll probably add a few more things (like a timeline picture for the biography section), but at this point, I'm tired of looking at my computer screen.
Have a nice New Year's and go buy the new EP and tickets for their upcoming shows.
12/10- Hello... IT'S DECEMBER 10TH!!!!! Do you have the new EP? If not, you need to get it NOW at your local record store or online . Stay tuned for a major update of this site in a few weeks... it will be a complete rehaul.
10/25- Read about the new musicians in Creeper Lagoon at the Arena Rock website.
New guitar tabs for Hold on to this World, Lonely, Dead Man Saloon, and So Little to Give.
10/20- The official site has been updated and now has sound clips from the new EP... but I bet you knew that already.
The new tribute to Kris Kristofferson which contains a Creeper Lagoon track comes out Oct 22 from Incidental Records. You can purchase it here.
Okay how about a new mp3 ... it is a live song called "Take All Night". It was recorded from the release party for "I Become Small and Go" in SF, 5/21/98. I'm sorry I couldn't cut off all the talking at the end of the clip; maybe you can do that yourselves. The old mp3, "Over the Rainbow" can still be heard here.
9/21- The new Creeper Lagoon EP from Sharky and company is in the final stages of mixing and the official release date is Dec 10!!
The mp3 on the home page is now "Over the Rainbow" from the Shasta Complex cassette. Please excuse the poor sound quality, since it was converted to mp3 from tape. The last mp3 was "Love Crimes" played live at Noisepop 1999. You can still listen to it here.
9/8/02- Yay, thanks to Hett, there are now guitar tabs for many of the songs.
9/7/02- The webpage is now officially open! (Guitar Tabs not up yet, but they're coming soon.)
9/2/02 - Hi. This is my fan page devoted to the band Creeper Lagoon. I am new to making websites, so this one will be real simple for awhile. There is lots of info about Creeper Lagoon out there, but it takes some effort to find it all. I hope this website will bring all the information together in a simple, comprehensive package. If you have photos, tabs, links or more information about the band that I haven't included, please let me know: [email protected]
And make sure you find the mp3 on the homepage... I will try to change it semi-regularly.
