| A Letter From My Soul by J. Estelle Newlin |

| Dear You, You know who I am, I am the essence of your being. Yes, its me, your soul writing these words. Something I guess you never thought you see. I know that you keep me in the dark, I know that you guard me from all of the pain. But I think that you need to open your heart, And let me again see the light of day. There is more to life than the pain you have experienced, There is more to love than never ending betrayal. Bring us out of the shadows and into the light, And see that you aren't always set up to fail. People talk big, people grow small, You have to listen to yourself and not thier lies, You can stand up, you won't always fall. You cannot keep hiding, or soon you will die. There are many out there who love who you are, They tell you how much you mean to their hearts. If you were so worthless, why would they care, You need to let the past go, and start again. You'll survive all the pain, all of life's little quirks, You've done it before, why should now be any different. You'll see that your stronger and that life is truly grand. Not every experience is malevolent. I hope that you read this and take it to mind, Your hiding yourself, do not die in the silence of the answer. Know that true healing only takes time, But don't let betrayal eat youlike cancer, Don't dwell on mistakes, or your own turmoil. Sincerely, The essence of you, your very own soul. (Copyright 2003 J.
