Jethro Tull 10/30/90 Frankfurt Festhalle review
I was fortunate to see many shows during my time stationed in Germany (Mainz, about thrity minutes from Frankfurt). Most of them were hard-rock/heavy metal genre like Iron Maiden, The Scorpions, Metallica, etc. However, I did harken back to my "roots" a few times seeing bands like the Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Allman Brothers Band, and, the point of this review, Jethro Tull.
It had been about ten years since I last saw Tull, and I had no idea what to expect. I was thrilled that Ian was starting the show seated at a small table (such as one might find at an outdoor cafe) elevated above the stage. The first song was off of the new (at the time) album.
